Auditions Advice & Guidance
Your audition is an opportunity for us to get to know you and learn about your aspirations, and we believe in the value you will gain from your audition. All offers to train with us are dependent on an audition, which are held regularly throughout the year.

If you are unable to come to one of our campuses we can offer you an online audition. If you would like to do this please request further details from the admissions team.

Audition Anxiety Advice
Even the most experienced performers get audition nerves – it is totally normal. But you don’t have to let audition anxiety stop you from bringing your ‘A’ game.
We have auditioned thousands of students, which means we have seen it all. So here are our top tips for audition success. You’ve got this.
Do:
- Check your inbox: make sure you’ve received an email confirming your audition booking and the audition guidelines. If you haven’t, please get in touch.
- Read the audition guidelines properly: they’re designed to help you feel informed, prepared, and confident on the day.
- Be fully prepared: this is your moment — make sure you’re ready to perform with confidence.
- Relax: nerves are normal — we want you to succeed as much as you do.
- Perform it: even if it’s a panel rather than an audience, bring the same energy and commitment you would in front of a paying crowd.
- Dress for each section: bring the right clothing and shoes for every part of your audition so you can perform at your best.
Don’t:
- Don’t skip the guidelines: read them — they’re essential.
- Don’t cancel last minute: if something changes, let us know as early as possible.
- Don’t wing it: avoid leaving preparation until right before your audition date.
- Don’t choose material that doesn’t fit: pick a song or monologue that’s age-appropriate, believable, and within your casting range.
- Don’t wear full dance kit for acting/singing: normal clothes are more appropriate for your acting and singing audition.
