Manchester Facilities

Train at Performers College Manchester in the iconic Dancehouse theatre on Oxford Road – a standout performing arts venue in the heart of the city. Set in a beautifully restored former 1930s cinema with original Art Deco details, the Dancehouse combines character with industry-standard studios, rehearsal spaces and professional technology, so you can build your skills in a real-world training environment. The Dancehouse is home to Performers College and Northern Ballet School, and is part of BIMM University’s Manchester campus.

Theatre

Our period theatre – used by students for professional productions throughout the year – is fully equipped with industry-standard technology. A complete PA system with handheld and wearable wireless microphones, a fully LED programmable lighting rig, and retractable seating give you everything you need to put on a great show.

Dance Studios

Our five dance studios feature cascade sprung floors, full-height wall mirrors, ballet barres, and pianos. These generous spaces support a wide range of dance styles, from contemporary and ballet to commercial and hip hop.

Acting Studios

Three spacious acting studios equipped with sound systems and pianos, used for solo and group work, scene study, and rehearsals. Versatile spaces designed to support every stage of your creative process.

Vocal Practice Room

A dedicated vocal practice room for individual and small group study. Ideal for focused technique sessions, tutorials, and rehearsal in a quiet, purpose-built space.

Mac Suite

Our Mac suite features 15 high-specification computers loaded with a range of audio and visual software for creative professionals. Every station is equipped with a recording interface, MIDI controller, and DJ controllers.

Communal Space

Our café area is the heart of campus life – a welcoming space to relax, socialise, and grab a snack between classes. Features plenty of seating and vending machines.
