Holly Rostron
Principal Lecturer - Dance
Originally from Manchester, Holly is a Principal Lecturer and Body Module Coordinator. She currently teaches classes in tap, jazz and musical theatre dance styles at Performers College Manchester and works with students on their in-house projects, public performances and agent showcases.
Choreography credits include Into the Woods, Changing Landscapes and The Best Musical Ever for BIMM University productions and Bugsy Malone and The Wind in the Willows for The Grand Theatre, Blackpool.
After training at Bird College, Holly worked as a musical theatre performer for a decade, performing in the West End, regionally and internationally. Career highlights include ensemble/swing Top Hat (Original West End and UK Tour cast) and performing the role of USO Dancer in Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger.
Holly is passionate about delivering dance performance and technique classes to students, to help them develop the skills needed for today’s theatre industry.
