How we prepare you for your future career

At these events, we’ve welcomed companies such as P&O Cruises, Haven Holidays, and Paul Holman Pantomimes. Our students have been selected as performers at Disneyland Paris, been awarded roles in domestic and international musicals, and even danced with Becky Hill and Chase and Status at The Brit Awards.

One of these audition days even led to 89 of our students appearing in Robbie Williams biopic Better Man.

During your time at Performers College, you’ll have access to exclusive networking events, and at our numerous panels and workshops, you’ll receive expert advice about various aspects of the performing arts industry, including auditions, funding, CVs, freelancing and more.

Some recent guest speakers include:

  • Dame Imelda Staunton (critically acclaimed actress and singer)
  • Omari Douglas (esteemed actor known for It’s a Sin)
  • Alan Burkitt (choreographer and director for the Strictly Theatre Company)
  • Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures company (world-renowned theatre company)
  • Sisco Gomez (award-winning choreographer)
  • Ed Burnside (resident director of Matilda The Musical)

We ensure our students are seen by industry professionals by adding Spotlight profiles to our website, which help attract agents and casting directors to our Agent Panel Days and Audition Days. Students can also use these professional profiles when they leave Performers College.

Our Creative Futures team arranges professional headshots for all students, and arrange filming of professionally edited singing, dance, and acting showreels to enure that every student enters the industry with all the assets they need.

For personalised advice, you can arrange a one-to-one session with the Creative Futures Team. They can help with anything from streamlining your CV to honing your business plan or finding work-related opportunities.

Industry Week is exclusive to final-year students and features an impressive lineup of talks, workshops, interactive sessions and social activities aimed at fully preparing you for the industry.

When you finish your studies, we’ll give you a Graduate Pack, a digital careers toolkit full of useful contacts, information and alumni discounts. In addition, our Creative Futures: Talent programme connects graduates with industry employers through job placements, workshops, careers fairs, performances and more.
