Katie Cambridge

Principal Lecturer of Contemporary

Katie trained at London Contemporary Dance School, graduating with a BA (Hons) and a Postgraduate Diploma. During her training she worked with leading choreographers including Marc Brew and Colin Poole, and toured works by Siobhan Davies and Merce Cunningham.

She began her professional career with Tavaziva Dance, performing, touring, and teaching with the company for over five years. After leaving Tavaziva, Katie established herself as a freelance artist, performing extensively with companies such as Moxie Brawl, ArtsCross, and Pagrav Dance.

Teaching has been a consistent thread throughout Katie’s career. She has delivered classes across educational settings and professional training environments, and she regularly teaches classes in London. As a creative director and choreographer, she has led and created work for numerous youth dance companies.
