Lottie Soffe
Senior Lecturer
Born and bred in Brighton, Lottie trained at The Brighton Academy for three years, gaining her diploma in Musical Theatre and DDI teaching qualifications. Since graduating, her performing career has taken her to many destinations across the world and the UK, including performances on board multiple cruise lines and in major arenas.
Her UK theatre, arena and TV credits include Strolling Down Brighton Pier as a dancer and supporting artist (Stephen Mear), the London Olympics Closing Ceremony as a Fire Ballerina (Darcey Bussell), The Rocky Horror Show as Columbia (Carole Todd), Into the Woods as Florinda (Jude Obermuller), Fame as Carmen (The Brighton Academy) and Forbidden Fruit as Cheerleader/Ensemble (Jude Obermuller). Her screen credits include Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway (ITV), Host the Week (Channel 4) and All in Innocence (Mac Alfie Productions).
Her international performance credits include Elements: The Revamp as dancer and understudy illusionist (Patti Wilcox), Encore as featured ballroom dancer (Danny Teeson/Wendy Johnson) and LIFE as singer and dancer (Gareth Walker). She has performed as a singer and dancer on Celebrity Equinox (Celebrity Cruise Lines), as a singer, dancer and swing on Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Jade (Norwegian Cruise Lines), and as a dancer on Coral Princess (Princess Cruise Lines). She has also worked as a magician's assistant for Lord Nils, Escapologist and PJ Wen Magic, and as a standby magician's assistant for Haines Magic.
Her choreography credits include Cabaret for Performers College and the music video for 'Free' by Emily Fields (Assistant Choreographer), and she has been resident choreographer for several dance competition teams in Sussex.
Since formally returning to the UK and Brighton, Lottie continues to perform professionally alongside running weekly dance training. She teaches at several studios across Sussex, working with adults from beginner to professional level. Lottie is passionate about training the next generation of performers, ready for the industry she loves so much.
