Denise Eleto
Associate Lecturer
Denise Eleto is an educator, director and academic with almost a decade of experience working across secondary, further and higher education. She specialises in acting, devising, actor training and performance-making, with a particular interest in contemporary acting pedagogies and collaborative creative practice.
A graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Denise holds a BA (Hons) in Drama, Applied Theatre and Education, a PGCE with QTS, and an MA in Actor Training and Coaching. Alongside her teaching at Performers College, she has worked across a range of educational settings, delivering acting, performance and devising modules while supporting emerging artists in developing their creative practice.
Alongside her academic career, Denise works as a freelance theatre director and is the Principal and Owner of PQA Romford, a weekend performing arts academy dedicated to nurturing confident, creative young performers aged 4–18. Her work combines artistic excellence with an inclusive, student-centred approach, creating spaces where young people can develop both their performance skills and self-belief.
Passionate about developing the next generation of performers, Denise brings industry insight, practical experience and a supportive teaching style to every rehearsal room and classroom, encouraging students to challenge themselves creatively while finding confidence in their own artistic voice.
