Morag Stark
Voice Tutor
Morag has been coaching Voice and Accents with professional and training actors for screen, voice-acting and theatre for three decades. Her work has included Netflix, Scottish Screen, BBC TV & Radio, The National Theatre of Scotland, Southwark Playhouse and she was Dialect Coach for Brigadoon at Regents Park Open Air Theatre in 2025.
She trained initially as an actor and performed professionally for over twenty-five years before deciding to teach Voice full-time when she was awarded a scholarship to study an MA in Voice Studies at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama. She was a Voice & Speech Lecturer at East 15 Acting School from 2016-26. Other Acting & Performance training programmes taught on include the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (alumna), Manchester Metropolitan University, Rose Bruford College and Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Higher Education.
Morag is an internationally accredited teacher of Nadine George Voicework which she also still practises. It marries her love of the spoken word, the sung note, and unique, individual vocal identity. She identifies as Scottish and has lived in the US, The Netherlands, throughout the UK, and in France where she taught English as a Second Language for the Chambre de Commerce.
