Morag Stark
Voice Tutor
Morag coaches voice and accents for professional and training actors across screen, voice-acting and theatre. Over three decades, her work has included Netflix, Scottish Screen, BBC TV and Radio, The National Theatre of Scotland, and Southwark Playhouse. Moreover, she served as Dialect Coach for Brigadoon at Regents Park Open Air Theatre in 2025.
She initially trained as an actor and performed professionally for over twenty-five years. She then chose to teach voice full-time after receiving a scholarship to study an MA in Voice Studies at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. From 2016–26, she taught as a Voice and Speech Lecturer at East 15 Acting School. Morag has taught on acting and performance training programmes at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (alumna), Manchester Metropolitan University, Rose Brufeld College and Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. She holds a Fellowship of the Institute of Higher Education.
Morag is an internationally accredited teacher of Nadine George Voicework, which she still practises. This approach marries her love of the spoken word, the sung note, and unique, individual vocal identity. She identifies as Scottish. Additionally, she has lived in the US, The Netherlands, throughout the UK, and in France, where she taught English as a second language for the Chambre de Commerce.
