Pheobe Rothwell
Freelance Lecturer
Pheobe is a professionally trained dancer and educator based in the North West, currently teaching at Performers College Manchester.
She has trained extensively in dance and musical theatre pedagogy. Her qualifications include a BA from Addict Dance Academy, a PGDE from Edge Hill University, and an MA from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. These credentials have developed her expertise across multiple dance disciplines.
Pheobe teaches commercial and jazz dance at Level Six, and is Module Coordinator for Level Four Body in Semester Two. Additionally, she teaches spine across the college, bringing her specialist knowledge to student training in somatic awareness and physical technique. Her teaching combines rigorous technical training with accessible, encouraging pedagogy that prepares students for professional careers in dance and musical theatre.
