Tom Linden-McCarron
Principal Lecturer
Tom Linden-McCarron is a specialist teacher in the mediums of Motion Capture, Voice-Over and Screen Acting. At Performers Essex, Tom writes, produces and directs the Level 6 short films, the voice-over modules across all year groups and delivers and has helped design the motion capture module.
Tom has worked as an actor and director for 20 years; his work in motion capture and other forms has enabled him to work with Centroid, Framestore, BBC, Disney, Amazon, Shakespeare's Globe and The National Theatre.
Tom continues to teach at other schools such as the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, East 15 Acting School, University of East London, and Arts Ed.
Tom uses the practices of Laban, Vakhtangov, Spolin and Stanislavsky to create accessible, creative and enjoyable teaching sessions. Most importantly, Tom focuses his sessions on the participants leaving with a tangible addition to their skill set going forward in the industry.
