Manchester Campus Celebrates at Annual Awards Ceremony
The students at our Manchester campus took centre stage on Friday afternoon to celebrate a year’s worth of outstanding achievements in the performing arts. The historic Dancehouse Theatre provided a fitting backdrop once again as students from all three-year groups gathered with their proud lecturers for the annual event, honouring the hard work, creativity, and dedication of the school’s young actors, dancers, and singers over the past academic year.
Hosted by Martin Travers, the ceremony covered all three pathways of the BA (Hons) Performing Arts – Acting for the 21st Century, Contemporary Musical Theatre, and Hip Hop Artistry – before concluding with the school’s special recognition awards. This year’s event also included a special presentation from the BIMM Dance Troupe, with awards presented by Milo Ferris and Serena Smith.

Sally Crawford-Shepherd, BA (Hons) Performing Arts Course Leader, commented:
“Days like this remind you why we do what we do. Watching students from across all three pathways be recognised for their hard work, their growth, and the way they show up for each other is what makes this job special. This year’s cohort have been exceptional, and I couldn’t be more proud of everything they’ve achieved. A special mention to our Hip Hop Artistry students, who close a brilliant chapter in the history of this course with exactly the attitude and artistry it deserves. We can’t wait to see where you all go next.
Following the ceremony, students and staff headed to the café to continue the celebrations.
Well done to everyone at the Manchester campus for an amazing year – and a special congratulations to our graduating cohort as they take their next steps in the industry.
