Sarah Green
Lecturer
Sarah has taught theatre for over twenty-five years in a variety of settings including Universities, Colleges, Schools and community and youth groups. She trained as an actor at Birmingham Conservatoire and worked in theatre and as a voice over artist for radio advertising, computer games and corporate training products.
Sarah holds a Masters degree in Script Writing and has had several plays produced in the North of England. Her first commissioned play was 'Jo and Dave Have Moved' for the Lancashire Festival in 2024. Her latest play Somewhere in the Middle won the Hebden Bridge Little Theatre New Writing festival in August 2025. Sarah also directs professionally and is currently directing the play 'Going Viral' for Blackpool Belle Productions which is touring in Summer 2026.
Last Summer, Sarah performed in Hobsons Choice as part of the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival in Buxton.
Sarah also works with children and teachers in Blackpool schools on the Drama for Oracy programme to help develop speaking and listening skills for young people.
Sarah's core interests lie in text, speech and working with actors to realise their vocal and performance potential, She enjoys working with performers to help them to develop their confidence in their speech and vocal delivery.
